राज्यात गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून फळबाग लागवडीला शेतकऱ्यांकडून प्राधान्य दिले जात आहे. पाच हेक्टरच्या आतील व जॉब कार्ड असलेल्या शेतकऱ्यांना फळबाग लागवड करण्यासाठी तसेच स्थानिक पातळीवर रोजगार उपलब्ध व्हावा यासाठी महाराष्ट्र ग्रामीण रोजगार हमी योजना (मनरेगा) मधून फळबाग लागवड केली जात आहे.
Farmers have been giving priority to orchard cultivation in the state for the past few years. Fruit orchards are being planted under the Maharashtra Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA) to cultivate orchards within five hectares and with job cards and to provide employment at the local level.
