कमी दाब क्षेत्राची तीव्रता वाढल्याने नैर्ऋत्य बंगालच्या उपसागरात तीव्र कमी दाब क्षेत्र (डिप्रेशन) सक्रिय आहे. आज दुपारपर्यंत (ता. १) ही प्रणाली श्रीलंकेच्या किनाऱ्यालगत येऊन नैर्ऋत्य दिशेकडे वळण्याचे संकेत आहेत. उत्तर भारतातील राज्यात थंडी कमी अधिक होत आहे.
An intense low pressure area (depression) is active in the Southwest Bay of Bengal due to the strengthening of the low pressure area. By this afternoon (h.1) there are indications that the system will approach the coast of Sri Lanka and turn towards southwest direction. The state of North India is getting colder.
