भारताचा आंबा अमेरिकेत पाठवताना त्यावरचा निर्यात खर्च कमी असावा जेणेकरून अमेरिकेत भारतीय आंबा स्वस्त दरात मिळेल, यासाठी मागच्या तीन वर्षांपासून प्रयत्न सुरू होते. या प्रयत्नाला अखेर यश आलंय. भारतातून पहिल्यांदाच समुद्रमार्गे आंबा निर्यात सुरू झालीय. ही ऐतिहासिक कामगिरी असल्याचं पणन संचालक आणि पणन मंडळाचे कार्यकारी संचालक सुनील पवार यांनी सांगितलंय.
Efforts have been made for the last three years to reduce the export cost of Indian mangoes to the US so that Indian mangoes can be found in the US at cheaper rates. This effort has finally succeeded. For the first time, mango export from India has started by sea. This is a historic achievement, said Sunil Pawar, Director of Marketing and Executive Director of Marketing Board.
