देशातील बहुतांशी भागात अद्याप मॉन्सूनची हजेरी लागली नाही, त्यामुळे खरीपाच्या पेरण्यांनी म्हणावा तसा वेग घेतलेला नाही. यंदा खरीप लागवडीत घट दिसून आली. पुढील काळात पाऊस झाल्यानंतर पेरण्या वेग घेतील, असा अंदाज व्यक्त केला जातो आहे.
