एकीकडे सरकारच्या धोरणांमुळे शेतीमालाचे पडलेले दर आणि दुसरीकडे अवकाळी पाऊस, गारपीट यासारख्या नैसर्गिक आपत्ती अशा दुहेरी संकटात सापडलेल्या शेतकऱ्यांना लोकप्रिय घोषणांच्या माध्यमातून चुचकारण्याचा प्रयत्न राज्याचे उपमुख्यमंत्री व अर्थमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी गुरूवारी (ता. ९) विधानसभेत मांडलेल्या अर्थसंकल्पातून करण्यात आला.
