जानेवारी अखेरपासून लेट खरीप कांद्याच्या दरात मोठी घसरण झाली. त्यामुळे शेतकऱ्यांचा उत्पादन खर्चही निघत नव्हता.या पार्श्वभूमीवर राज्यात वातावरण तापल्यानंतर केंद्रीय आरोग्य राज्यमंत्री डॉ. भारती पवार यांनी केंद्रीय मंत्री पियुष गोयल यांच्याकडे ‘नाफेड’मार्फत लेट खरीप कांद्याची खरेदी सुरू करावी, अशी मागणी केली होती.
Late Kharif onion prices have fallen sharply since the end of January. Due to this, the production cost of the farmers was not going away.
