पश्चिमी चक्रावातांच्या प्रभावामुळे हिमालयपर्वत आणि लगतच्या भागात हिमवृष्टी सुरूच आहे. थंडीची लाट आल्याने शनिवारी (ता. १४) राजस्थानच्या चुरू येथे देशाच्या सपाट भूभागावरील नीचांकी उणे ०.७ अंश सेल्सिअस तापमानाची नोंद झाली. आज (ता. १५) पंजाब, हरियाणा, चंडीगड, दिल्ली, हिमाचल प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, मध्य प्रदेश, गुजरातच्या काही भागात थंडीची लाट येण्याची शक्यता आहे.
The western cyclones are continuing to cause snowfall in the Himalayas and adjoining areas. Churu in Rajasthan recorded a low of minus 0.7 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Cold wave is expected in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat today.
